**Job Description Summary**:
**Essential Responsibilities**:
- Work effectively on an assigned project within Steam Power.
- Work closely with the design/projects/engineering community to identify business needs, create a problem statement, & develop functional specifications and support software development.
- Work closely with an identified mentor on an allocated project, make presentations.
- Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with organization policies and procedures.
**Qualification**:
Master’s in Mechanical Engineering.
**Desired Characteristics**:
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding of Thermal power plant operation
- Thorough knowledge on static and rotating equipment engineering.
- Deep understanding of Fans, blowers and pumps design and laws.
- Knowledge on bulk material handling system design
- Knowledge on HVAC and firefighting system design
- Familiar about codes and standards
- Capable of reading and understanding the engineering drawings of equipment
- Able to read the P&IDs and understand the process and equipment functions.
- Familiar with productivity tool like MS office, Outlook, Autocad and 3D software like inventor, solid edge, works etc.
- Good teamwork, communicate effectively with team members on the progress and obstacles faced.
