- **Payroll Processing**:
- Accurately process end-to-end payroll for assigned clients in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and organizational policies.
- Calculate and verify payroll inputs, including salaries, bonuses, deductions, reimbursements, and statutory contributions.
- **Compliance & Documentation**:
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, such as PF, ESI, TDS, and any other payroll-related regulations.
- Maintain and update employee records, payroll files, and audit-ready documentation.
- **Client Interaction**:
- Serve as the main point of contact for payroll-related client inquiries, providing prompt and professional support.
- Resolve client payroll issues and discrepancies efficiently, ensuring a positive client experience.
- Work closely with clients to gather payroll inputs, clarify queries, and communicate any changes or updates.
- **Reporting & Reconciliation**:
- Prepare payroll reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements for internal and client review.
- Reconcile payroll accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure alignment of payroll with financial records.
- **Process Improvement**:
- Identify opportunities to enhance payroll processes and improve efficiency.
- Stay updated with industry trends, payroll legislation changes, and best practices in payroll management.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Experience in handling payroll for a multi-location or high-volume organization.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of process automation and efficiency improvement techniques in payroll.
**Qualifications**:
- **Educational Background**: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably with client-facing responsibilities.
- **Technical Skills**:
- Proficient in payroll software (e.g., GreytHR, Keka, Zoho Payroll) and MS Excel.
- Familiarity with statutory requirements, including PF, ESI, and Income Tax laws.
- **Communication Skills**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong client-handling abilities, with a customer-focused approach and problem-solving attitude.
- **Attention to Detail**: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing payroll data and calculations.
