Job Summary_
- Working with onshore Programme Management & Business Support Team (Programme & Business Director, Business Support Manager, PMO Manager) & Finance partner, the PMO finance analyst will be responsible for assisting with Financial Analysis of the programme/ project and BAU
- Principal Duties/Responsibilities_
**Budget/ Forecast Management**
- Work in partnership with finance business partner / finance team aligned to Information Security.
- Track and report on both BAU and Investment budgets throughout the year
- Perform accurate financial forecasting, reporting and tracking for BAU and Investment Budget
- Engagement with Investment and BAU cost centre owners to ensure alignment with approved budgets
- Analyse financial data and perform variance analysis; identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
- Manage the pipeline of renewals for the BAU budget to ensure these are processes on time
**Third Party commitments and contracts**
- In partnership the Budget Owners who initiate Purchase Orders support in providing the quality of information enabling accurate generation of PO’s
- In partnership manage PO’s and track invoices through to the final invoice in receipt and payment
- Initiate and engage in conversation with the internal PO owners and vendors in case of disputes over billing.
**Financial Reconciliation**
- Owns and drives the complete month end process right from reconciling transactions lists (Actuals) from last month against the approved budget lines till reforecasting expenses for the current month
- Understand the working of Oracle General Ledger, where the accounting entries originate and how to access supporting documentation to gain an understanding of the accounting transactions themselves
- Ensure the entries are coded to the correct Team codes, if not highlight to the finance team and get them corrected. This will make sure the actuals are correctly aligned to the approved budget.
- In conjunction with Finance Business Partner, reconcile against approved budget
- Create finance dashboards and reports and give insights and commentary based on the variance
**Administration**
- Meeting management, Document Management, Minutes of meetings, support onboarding/offboarding of resources, resolving queries related financial process
