**Position Title: Account Assitant**
**Edu. Qual.**:At a minimum, an Associate's degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or a similar field. Bachelor's degree preferred. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience can be substituted.
**Location preference: Bangalore**
**No. of years of Relevant Exp. reqd: 2 to 4 Years**
**Responsibilities for Accounting Assistant**:
- Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial data
- Monitoring daily communications and answering any queries
- Support duties related to accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Research and resolve discrepancies in a timely fashion
- Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers.
- Managing petty cash transactions.
**Requirements and skills**:
- Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
- Familiarity with finance regulations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
- Ability to work independently on assigned duties
- Demonstrates an ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines
**Job Types**: Regular / Permanent, Full-time
**Salary**: ₹8,086.00 - ₹27,850.73 per month
