**Your role**
- It will be an exciting period which you spend working within the Controls Assurance team, testing controls and gaining an insight into the complex structures, operating layers and divisions within UBS. You will focus on the in depth understanding of the processes and controls as well as confirming if they are effective and mitigate associated risks. You will be part of a multinational team, supported by highly motivated and knowledgeable colleagues to make an impact with your work.
- Key tasks will include:

- 1. To participate in / complete required training
- 2. Perform Operating Effectiveness (OE) testing as per the defined Testing Approach
- 3. Address and clear any review points raised through Quality Assurance (QA) review in a timely manner
- 4. Escalate any potential testing issues / exceptions to appropriate teams
- 5. Provide timely updates to the testing status tracker and ensuring all QA review points are closed out quickly
- 6. Participate in weekly/monthly progress meetings and contribute to discussions around control issues and fails

**Your team**
- The Controls Assurance (CA) testing program is an initiative within UBS Group Risk Control, to ensure that we have independent testing and assurance of procedural controls that address our major risks.
- The Controls Assurance team sits within the Compliance & Operational Risk Control (C&ORC) team. You will be working in the global Controls Assurance testing team in India. Our role is to perform the controls testing for SOX and non-SOX testing elements of the CA program. You will have regular engagement with UBS process owners in a variety of UBS global offices.

- 1. Highly motivated
- 2. Good knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft products
- 3. Outstanding self-organizational skills
- 4. Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex issues and proposed solutions in an effective way
- 5. Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- 6. To be able to work in a dynamic environment and under time pressure
- 7. Language requirement: proficiency in English is key. Knowledge of German would be an added benefit
