Responsibilities:

- Administer, monitor, and optimize SQL databases, including Postgres and MySQL.
- Manage NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB and DynamoDB, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain database structures that meet business requirements.
- Perform database tuning, query optimization, and indexing to ensure optimal performance.
- Handle data migration, backups, and recovery processes to maintain data integrity and availability.
- Develop and maintain data dictionary, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor and troubleshoot database issues, resolving performance bottlenecks, and ensuring high availability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to database administration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data lake solutions using BigQuery and Snowflake.
- Ensure data security and compliance with regulatory standards.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with SQL-based database management systems, particularly Postgres and MySQL.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB and DynamoDB.
- Experience in database design, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Knowledge of data lake concepts and experience with BigQuery and Snowflake is a plus.
- Solid understanding of data backup, recovery, and replication methodologies.
- Proficient in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
