**Job description:

**Role & responsibilities**

Cardiology Department has a primary role in conducting tests of TMT, ECG, Holter, PFT and ECHO and maintenance of their department. Responsibility at various levels within the Department is as follows:

- Setting up Testing Department
- Receiving of Inventory in the System
- Proper Functioning of Equipments
- Maintaining Departmental Record of Cleaning/House Keeping
- Calling of Patient
- Comparing the Test Requisition in System with that of Prescription
- Consent Form Signing wherever required
- Preparing the Patient for Test/ Explaining the procedure in brief
- Marking Completion of Test in the system and patients Slip
- Making Report in LIM and approval by Reporting Consultant
- Printing of Labels/Film/Graphs and packing
- Forwarding of Report to Reception and Acknowledgement
- Inform Maintenance in case of Machine breakdown/or any other maintenance issues
