Organization is Leading Printing and Packaging Industry Located at Moraiya, Ahmedabad.

The ETP, STP, and MEE Plant Operator are responsible for the efficient and safe operation of Effluent Treatment Plants, Sewage Treatment Plants, and Multiple Effect Evaporators respectively. They ensure that wastewater and effluent streams are treated effectively to meet regulatory standards and environmental requirements. These operators monitor plant processes, conduct water quality tests, adjust treatment parameters, and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Plant Operation**: Operate and control the ETP, STP, or MEE plant equipment to treat wastewater and effluent streams effectively. Monitor and adjust process parameters such as flow rates, temperatures, pressures, and chemical dosages to ensure optimal treatment performance.
- **Water Quality Monitoring**: Conduct regular water quality testing using various instruments and methods to analyze parameters such as pH, turbidity, COD, BOD, TSS, and others. Interpret test results and make necessary adjustments to treatment processes accordingly.
- **Chemical Handling**: Handle and dose chemicals required for the treatment process accurately and safely. This includes coagulants, flocculants, disinfectants, pH adjusters, and other chemicals used for precipitation, filtration, and disinfection processes.
- **Maintenance and Troubleshooting**: Perform routine maintenance tasks on plant equipment, including pumps, valves, filters, and evaporators. Troubleshoot any operational issues that arise and perform repairs or adjustments as needed to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain detailed records of plant operations, including water quality test results, chemical usage, equipment maintenance, and any incidents or deviations from normal operation. Ensure that all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- **Safety and Compliance**: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the plant. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards set by local authorities or regulatory bodies. Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards and environmental risks associated with plant operations.
- **Team Collaboration**: Collaborate with other plant personnel, including supervisors, engineers, and technicians, to optimize plant performance, troubleshoot problems, and implement improvements. Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operation of the plant.
- **Emergency Response**: Respond promptly and effectively to any emergencies or alarms in the plant, following established procedures and protocols. Take appropriate actions to minimize risks and mitigate potential hazards, including shutdown procedures, containment measures, and notification of relevant authorities.
- **Training and Development**: Stay updated on advancements in wastewater treatment technology, regulations, and best practices through training programs, seminars, and self-study. Continuously improve skills and knowledge to enhance job performance and contribute to the overall success of the plant.
- **Environmental Awareness**: Maintain awareness of the environmental impact of plant operations and strive to minimize negative effects through efficient and effective treatment processes. Implement measures to conserve resources, reduce waste, and protect natural ecosystems from pollution and contamination.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in wastewater treatment is preferred.
- Previous experience in operating and maintaining ETPs, STPs, MEEs, or similar industrial wastewater treatment systems.
- Strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes, equipment, and chemical treatment methods.
- Proficiency in water quality testing techniques and instruments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with colleagues, supervisors, and external stakeholders.
- Commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance in all aspects of plant operations.
