An Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) operator is responsible for operating and maintaining wastewater treatment equipment and processes to ensure that wastewater is safe to release into the environment. Their responsibilities include:

- Following instructions: Following the instructions in the ETP operation and maintenance manual
- Controlling chemicals: Controlling the dosage of chemicals and nutrients based on wastewater characteristics
- Operating equipment: Operating and maintaining pumps, aerators, screens, and grit removal devices
- Performing maintenance: Performing daily, weekly, and monthly controls and preventive maintenance operations
- Monitoring water quality: Ensuring water quality monitoring before, during, and after treatment
- Collecting samples: Collecting samples and preparing chemicals for wastewater analysis
- Cleaning equipment: Cleaning equipment and disposing of waste byproducts
- Lubricating: Lubricating pumps, valves, and other parts
- Repairing: Repairing various equipment
- Monitoring parameters: Monitoring all parameters pertaining to wastewater and effluent disposal
- Adhering to schedules: Ensuring proper dosing schedules are adhered to
- Making decisions: Making timely, accurate, and cost-effective decisions
- Responding to emergencies: Responding to emergencies and breakdowns in the system
- Entering confined spaces: Entering manholes and other confined spaces involving potential hazards

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Rotational shift

**Experience**:
