Job Description: Oracle DBA L2

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform installation, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle database software and related products.
- Manage and maintain the Oracle database environment, including backup and recovery operations.
- Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance tuning and database connectivity problems.
- Implement and maintain database security, including user management, access controls, and data encryption.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database schemas, tables, and stored procedures.
- Conduct regular database health checks, capacity planning, and proactive maintenance activities.
- Monitor database growth and plan for database expansion to meet future business requirements.
- Document database procedures, guidelines, and best practices for reference and knowledge sharing.
- Stay up to date with the latest Oracle database technologies, tools, and industry trends.
- Provide on-call support and participate in the 24/7 shift rotation schedule.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA, preferably at an L2 level.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Oracle Database versions 11g, 12c, and 19c.
- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting languages.
- Familiarity with database monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Understanding of backup and recovery strategies, including RMAN.
- Knowledge of Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift operations setup on a rotation basis.

Work Location: ITI Dooravaninagar, KR Puram, Bangalore. This position does not offer work-from-home options.

Final Interview with Client: The final interview will be conducted face-to-face at the customer site: #14, Canara Bank DIT, Naveen complex, Trinity Circle, between Taj and Park hotel, opposite 1MG mall car parking entry gate.

**Salary**: ₹431,232.17 - ₹500,000.00 per year
