- Experience in managing an end-to-end supply chain.
- Desired experience within a manufacturing/production environment.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- DRIVE - you’ll need to be driven as the business is expected to grow considerably.
- Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers, providing forecast data as needed.
- Manage inventory by monitoring, replenishing, and expediting to ensure availability while maintaining the company's target holding levels.
- Partner with sales, product, production, customer executive, operations and shipping to review and deliver orders promptly.
- Continuously improving the implementation of process integration points between planning and execution, particularly concerning ERP systems.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with different audiences, in particular with client senior executives and across global cultural environments
- Coordinate with the factory to ensure orders are completed efficiently and to schedule and meet the required standards.
- Collaborate with the sales team to schedule production of stock and bespoke projects, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Process all new suppliers, assemblies, purchase orders and deliveries into the business management system, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and customers
- ensure you're aware of precisely what is happening throughout the supply chain
- Hire, recruit, manage and motivate a team of supply chain staff
- manage and minimise the risks (for example, operational or reputational) that could affect or interrupt the supply chain
- Consider the environmental impact of the supply chain to meet sustainability targets
- Implement new technologies and stay vigilant for emerging trends and developments in the sector.
