**Job Overview**:
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Credit Control Executive to join our finance team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and follow up on outstanding payments from our customers, ensuring timely collection and maintaining healthy cash flow for the company.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Account Management**: Maintain and manage customer accounts, including updating payment records, resolving payment discrepancies, and addressing customer queries related to invoices and payments.
- **Credit Risk Assessment**: Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers, recommending appropriate credit limits and terms based on analysis.
- **Reporting**: Prepare and present regular reports on outstanding payments, aged debtors, and collection status to management.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to resolve any billing or payment-related issues, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
- **Compliance**: Ensure all credit control activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Identify and suggest improvements in the credit control process to enhance efficiency and reduce overdue payments.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar role, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
- **Skills**:

- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
