**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Installation and Maintenance**:

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components, including wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, and lighting systems.
- Ensure electrical systems comply with all applicable standards and codes.
- **Troubleshooting and Repairs**:

- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues to determine the root cause and implement effective solutions.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes and regulations.
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain safety documentation as required.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Report any issues or deficiencies to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work collaboratively with other maintenance staff, engineers, and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of new electrical installations and upgrades.

**Qualifications**
- **Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent training.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a maintenance role.
- Experience with a variety of electrical systems and equipment, including industrial or commercial settings.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, and lighting.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- **Licenses/Certifications**:

- Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations.
- Valid driver's license may be required.

**Working Conditions**
- This position involves working in various environments, including indoors, outdoors, and in confined spaces.
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
- May require working at heights and in adverse weather conditions.
- Standard working hours with potential for overtime, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
