Tasks - the role involves but is not limited to the following:

- Develop, improve and execute user research plans that span multiple projects
- Raise and propose resolution of research issues affecting multiple aspects of the apps and products
- Identify user problems and recommend options and solutions
- Work cross-functionally with Design, Product and Engineering partners and represent slick user designs
- Synthesize, communicate, and present research findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders
- Produce clear, concise, compelling research documents (research plans, screeners, moderator guides and results documentation)
- Influence product managers and design managers to use research findings to develop, improve, refine, and prioritize product requirements
- Leverage architectural design tasks such as user flows, information architecture definition, and/or wireframing to communicate design opportunities to stakeholders
- Support design direction through early concept testing, formative, and summative usability testing

Skill and requirements:

- Deep understanding of user centered design methods
- Extensive experience in the planning and moderating multiple user research methodologies including testing strategies, field research, card sorting techniques and heuristic reviews
- Experience working on complex B2C, B2B or SaaS products
- Has strong understanding of all areas of UX research and can assess issues/needs in all
- Ablity to demonstrate an understanding of non-UX areas such as marketing and web development
- Experience working and collaborating with diverse teams in a dynamic, rapid-growth environment
- Experience partnering with design and Product Managers to develop a research strategy
- Strongly believes in user-centered design principles
- Able to work independently to troubleshoot technical and process-related issues
- Is a go-getter, self-sufficient, and seeks answers to open questions
- Understands and revels in a fast-paced envronment by demonstrates agility, speed to market
- Has stellar time management skills, with prior experience in a time-sensitive development environment
- Must have very strong written and verbal English communication and presentation skills to prepare reports of findings, explain methods used, insights learned, and present research results to key stakeholders and leadership
- Experience with UserTesting, Qualtrics, Optimal Workshop to conduct research; and knowledge of Figma and Miro to collaborate with Designers when preparing to conduct research to walk-through prototypes and designs
- Must have and should share online portfolio accompanying the resume/cv
