**Experience Designer**

**JOB PURPOSE**:
**The objective of the X Studio is to contribute to an exceptional User Experience within the DT & IT EF by co-creating solutions with Human needs at the center. The Studio Head is leading the team which consists out of Engagement Lead, Transformation Lead, UX Researcher and Experience Designer.**:
The Experience Designer designs and enhances products and leads design activities, e.g. wireframing and high-fi prototyping, resulting in improved User Experiences where user needs and business goals are being met.

**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- **Experience Design & Innovation**
- Drives an end-to-end user experience design - from the design brief to the Hi-Fidelity prototypes so that needs of end users are being addressed while prototyping. Examples of activities:_
- Defines, manages, and conducts end-to-end user experience design (strategies)
- Comes up with innovative solutions to design seamless and intuitive user experiences
- Works on detailed design solutions while keeping a bird's eye view on the entire user experience
- Improves and creates easy-to-use (digital) products and experiences
- Drives the design and innovation based on user needs.
- **Design Concepts**
- Develops design concepts based on user needs and translates these into tangible prototypes to create innovative and exceptional user experiences. Examples of activities:_
- Interprets user research outcomes and translates these into actionable experience design concepts
- Ideates solutions and delivers wireframes and prototypes from low to high fidelity for experimentation
- Develops style guides for interaction & visual design and maintains documentation
- Acts as an expert user of Design Tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma etc.
- **Rapid Prototyping & Validation**
- Conducts rapid prototyping in an iterative and collaborative way and validates through all stages of the design process to ensure needs of end users are addressed to deliver a Proof of Concept or a Minimal Viable Product (MVP). Examples of activities:_
- Works closely with the researcher to plan user research and testing
- Integrates user needs during the design process
- Evaluates design solutions based on end user feedback
- Incorporates feedback in designs
- Validates continuously with end users as part of an iterative way of product development
- **Product Design Advice**
- Provides insights and advice on the experience to shape the design of the product. Examples of activities:_
- Identifies opportunities for improving the design process and gives advice on appropriate solutions
- Plans and facilitates in sketching and prototyping sessions during research and user testing
- Advises about the experience impact of ideas
- Liaise regularly with clients/product owners to ensure that designs meet their requirements and core business objectives
- Presents ideas, concepts, and design solutions to various stakeholders.
- **Human Centered Design Ways of Working**
- Promotes the value and ensures the delivery of human centered design and focus on the end user experience across DT & IT EF and beyond. Examples of activities:_
- Proposes tailor-made experience design approaches to various use cases and product teams
- Ensures proper delivery of experience strategy, methods and end user insights and strives for compromises in challenging situations
- Promotes experience strategies, methods, and best practices as part of Human Centered Design Ways of Working
- Inspires change and new ways of working - to get insights in user needs - at every life cycle stage.
- **Cross Functional Team Collaboration**
- Facilitates engagement and collaboration across various disciplines and parties to ensure co-creation of the product along the value chain. Examples of activities:_
- Works closely within a multidisciplinary team, including designers, web developers and programmers
- Works with design, product management, content strategy, development teams

WHO YOU ARE:

- University degree in Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent
- 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UX design
- Proficient with visual design programs such as Adobe Photoshop and/or equivalent
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing interfaces for clients
