Video Editor

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Video Editing**:

- Edit raw footage into polished videos, including adding graphics, music, sound effects, and voiceovers to produce final content.
- Work on video projects from concept to completion, ensuring high production values and adherence to project guidelines.
- Create different types of video content, including promotional videos, social media videos, instructional videos, and event footage.
- **Storytelling & Creativity**:

- Edit footage to create a cohesive and engaging story that aligns with the project’s goals and the intended audience.
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand the vision and messaging, translating those ideas into visual content.
- Suggest improvements and innovative ideas for enhancing the quality of the video content.
- **Audio & Visual Integration**:

- Ensure smooth integration of sound, music, and visual elements to enhance the overall quality of the video.
- Edit sound effects, voiceovers, and background music to match the tone and flow of the video.
- Balance audio levels and troubleshoot audio issues to maintain clear, consistent sound throughout the video.
- **Graphic Design & Animation**:

- Create and incorporate graphics, animations, and special effects into the video, as needed.
- Design titles, lower-thirds, intros, outros, and other video elements to enhance the overall visual appeal.
- Use motion graphics and animation software to create dynamic video content.
- **Content Review and Feedback**:

- Review and revise video content based on feedback from the creative director or stakeholders.
- Ensure all edits align with brand guidelines and quality standards.
- Meet deadlines and work within the project scope to ensure timely delivery of video content.
- **File Management & Quality Control**:

- Organize and manage video files, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and backup of project files.
- Perform quality control to ensure the final video output meets the highest standards in terms of resolution, format, and technical specifications.
- **Collaborative Work**:

- Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, production, and social media teams, to ensure the video content aligns with organizational goals and marketing strategies.
- Attend meetings to discuss project requirements and timelines.
- **Staying Updated on Trends**:

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in video editing, animation, and multimedia production.
- Implement new methods and technologies to continuously improve the editing process and video quality.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Familiarity with graphic design and animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Strong knowledge of video formats, codecs, and compression methods.
- Ability to work with both audio and video files, ensuring high-quality sound and visuals.
- Strong attention to detail, creative problem-solving, and a passion for storytelling through video.
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with other team members.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with color grading and color correction.
- Knowledge of 3D animation or motion graphics.
- Experience with video production for various platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, corporate videos, commercials).
- Familiarity with video and audio equipment used in production.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
