**JOB PURPOSE**

**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**

**Accountabilities Major Activities Designing**

a) use BIM tools to propose various concept/design options based on project requirements.

b) Quickly iterate and analyse different design options to find the most efficient and innovative solutions.

c) Create and maintain detailed BIM models of the construction project using Revit software.

d) Establish and maintain a centralized BIM data repository for project documentation and model version control.

e) Use parametric modelling principles to generate various design options.

f) Create high-quality 3D renderings visualization using Enscape/Twin motion to help the team better understand the design.

g) Prepare Presentations and present design concepts and drawings when required.

h) Review detailed design and shop drawings submitted by consultants, contractors, and sub-contractors.

i) Perform material research and assist designers in evaluation to make proper selections.

**Coordination**

a) Create and analyse an Integrated federated model.

b) Run and analyse clash detection using Navisworks manage.

c) Prepare and distribute clash reports to facilitate the coordination process.

d) Schedule and facilitate coordination meetings along with different discipline managers.

e) Meeting with designers as required to facilitate review of models as needed.

**Site Visits**

a) Collaborate with on-site construction teams to ensure that BIM data is utilized effectively during construction.

b) may attend project meetings, and site visits as appropriate.

c) may be responsible for preparing meeting minutes for coordination meetings.

**JOB SPECIFICATION**

**Education qualification and certifications**

Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering, or Construction disciplines is mandatory.

**Years of Experience**

a) A minimum of 5 years of working experience in Architecture or Engineering consultancy is mandatory.

b) A thorough understanding of all building systems and construction methods is required.

**Computer skills**

a) Experience in the use of BIM and Rendering tools (Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks manage, Enscape) b) Experience using Adobe Photoshop, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

**Knowledge and work skills**

a) Understanding of Architectural design and document coordination.

b) Understanding of various building types.

c) Knowledge of relevant BIM standards and protocols (e.g., ISO 19650, LOD).

d) General understanding of building codes e) Knowledge of construction nomenclature and techniques

f) Excellent communication skills in written and spoken communication with leaders and peers.

g) Knowledge of the Scan-to-BIM process is an advantage.

h) Passion for BIM, both in process and technology, and how it can be used to improve the productivity of those who work in design and construction.

i) Self-driven and motivated, passionate, detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
