Job Title: Finance Executive
Location: Kolkata
About the role
We are seeking a Finance Executive to join our team out of the Kolkata office (hybrid) on a fixed-term contract through the end of March 2025, with the possibility for extension. In this role, you will support the Taxation Manager with key financial tasks such as invoicing in SAP/e-invoicing, credit notes, maintaining accounts receivables, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes. You will also contribute to the preparation of MIS reports.
As a Finance Executive, you will act as a brand ambassador for BSI, upholding our values, adhering to company policies, and promoting our services to help clients optimize their business performance and “Make Excellence a Habit.”
Responsibilities:
- Invoicing in SAP as well as E-invoicing manually.
- Follow up of receivables, maintain a healthy DSO
- Scrutiny/ reconciliation of ledgers and accounts
- Balance confirmation of debtors.
- Bank Reconciliation
- GST compliance and assessments
- Month end and Year end closing as per Global Accounting norms.
- Accrual of Revenue
- Interaction with Statutory/ Internal Auditors.
To be successful in the role, you will have a:
- Commerce graduate with 2 years experience in Invoicing/GST OR Management Accounting professional qualification fresher
- Advance Excel and other MS office skills.
- She/ he must have in-depth knowledge about Accounting and Finance.
- Have an eye for analysing the details.
- Calm and professional attitude to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good Interpersonal skills.
