- Job Description
- The Treasury associate will be responsible for managing the company’s liquidity, cash flow, and financial transactions. This role will ensure that cash and financial assets are effectively managed, support financial forecasting, and help maintain positive banking relationships. The Treasury associate will also assist with risk management related to cash management and debt.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Cash Management**: Monitor and manage daily cash position, ensuring that the company has adequate liquidity to meet its financial obligations.
- ** Banking Relationships**: Maintain and build relationships with financial institutions; manage banking accounts and services.
- ** Cash Forecasting**: Prepare short
- and long-term cash forecasts, collaborating with finance and operations teams to ensure accurate cash planning.
- ** Payments Processing**: Oversee the timely and accurate processing of payments, including vendor payments, payroll disbursements, and inter company transactions.
- ** Cash Position Reporting**: Provide daily, weekly, and monthly cash position reports to management, including any variances and trends.
- ** Treasury Reconciliations**: Reconcile treasury accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurate and recorded in the general ledger.
- ** Debt Management**: Assist with managing the company’s debt portfolio, including tracking interest payments, principal repayments, and loan covenants.
- ** Risk Management**: Assist in managing financial risk exposure, including currency, interest rates, and credit risks, using appropriate hedging strategies.
- ** Compliance & Regulations**: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and company policies.
- ** Treasury Systems**: Utilize and support treasury management software to streamline processes and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- ** Internal Collaboration**: Work closely with accounting, finance, and operations teams to understand business needs and support strategic initiatives.
- ** Ad-hoc Projects**: Assist with various treasury-related projects and initiatives as required by management.
