Reporting to Delivery Manager/Team Lead and creating Engineering Concept d esign, master sections, macro feasibility during styling stage 2. CAD modeling and 3D annotations of BIW components and assemblies ensuring timely delivery at every milestones as per Project time plan and the schedule assigned by Project lead. 3. Work out detai l engineering and TPL creation and Release in PLM 4. Define validation plan of BIW components and assemblies on component level meeting all requirements of functionality, performance and quality as per TML standards. 5. Understand and implement feedback from all internal agencies within TML and external agencies (component suppliers, engineering service provider) for design, engineering, development and Launch of vehicle. 6. POST launch engineering support to resolve all manufacturing, Weight, Quality and Cost reduc tion activities. 7. Participate in the Customer initiatives like VAVE, weight reduction and quality improvements and deliver as p er given target of cost, quality and weight. Domain Skills/Technical Competency : 1. The job requires domain knowledge of BIW Des ign for Automotive components and assemblies 2. Shee Metal Design, modeling, master sections, DMU, interaction with DMU team, PE, APL team for DFM and DFA, interaction with styling 3. Knowledge of sheet metal forming and welding assemblies 4. CATIA expertis e, in solid, surface modeling, assembly modeling, 3D annotations 5. Good working Knowledge of regulations and engineering processe s like DFMEA, DVP, DFM, DFA and DFS, DVP, etc. 6. PLM knowledge and knowledge of Vehicle BOM and Engineering BOM knowledge of B IW regulations, performance testing and validations.Education - Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentExperience - 3 to 6 Years
