Job Summary
We are looking for a Category executive whose role entails a high level of customer-centricity with strong analytics, deep business understanding and stakeholder management, sharp planning and story-telling coupled with product/tech understanding for enhanced customer experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
Work with suppliers and brands to ensure that the products are available (in-stock) and any customer/internal complaints are resolved.
Following up with potential vendor onboarding and making sure all necessary documents are signed and updated and recorded.
Act as the POC for all data, stock, operations requirements with the vendors
Headhunting and arranging meetings with buyers and merchandisers to expand product categories.
Maintaining and updating product leaderboard for all SKU’s.
Maintaining trust relationships with vendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services
Place appropriate orders to ensure product availability that meets consumer demands
Updating real-time stock for all products on Shopify. Update the positioning and status of the product as per the stock availability
Do a thorough competitor analysis for new products and existing products to offer a competitive pricing
Make forecasts for product demand to ensure the sustainability of inventory

**Qualifications**:
Previous working experience as category executive for 3 years
Experience in FMCG retail or E-commerce preferred
Expertise in category management
Hands on experience with analyzing big data and making forecasts
Analytical and critical thinker
BA in business administration, marketing or similar relevant field
Excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills
The role is primarily operational so needs to be organized, fast-paced and driven

**Salary**: ₹600,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per year
