Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

- **Pastry and Dessert Preparation**:

- Create and prepare a wide variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked goods according to established recipes and standards.
- Innovate and develop new recipes and dessert concepts to keep the menu fresh and appealing.
- Decorate pastries and desserts using a variety of techniques to ensure visually appealing presentation.
- **Ingredient Management**:

- Ensure the freshness and quality of all ingredients used in the pastry section.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering and stocking supplies, to prevent shortages and waste.
- Measure and mix ingredients accurately according to recipes.
- **Kitchen Operations**:

- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation, following all health and safety regulations.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly used, cleaned, and maintained.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient preparation and service of meals.
- **Menu Development**:

- Participate in menu planning and development, providing input on pastry and dessert items.
- Create seasonal and special occasion desserts to enhance the menu offerings.
- Adjust recipes to meet dietary requirements and special requests.
- **Team Management and Training**:

- Supervise and train junior pastry chefs and other kitchen staff as needed.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss new techniques, recipes, and kitchen best practices.
- **Quality Control**:

- Conduct quality checks on all pastries and desserts to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Taste and review products to maintain high culinary standards.
- Address any issues with product quality or presentation promptly.
- **Customer Interaction**:

- Occasionally interact with customers to discuss menu items, special requests, and dietary needs.
- Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction with the pastry offerings.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,641.28 per month
