**Curriculum testing overview**:

- This vertical at Shiksha observes curriculum implementation closely to assess feasibility and quality of our design(How students and teachers are interacting with the lesson plans and learning journey) and operations. We collect data from observations, FGDs and interviews to see if the Curriculum design is meeting student learning outcomes. Learning and insights from this exercise enables design, operations and M&E teams to get deep into classrooms and understand learner/teacher experience better, reflect on what's working, gaps in the implementation and run improvement based experiments. When Quality is the vision, there is no substitute to detail orientation and rigor and that's exactly what we are trying to set up through this vertical.

We hope to not just improve the quality of our programs through our methods but also create knowledge and share our experiences with everyone who cares deeply about quality at scale.

**Role Overview**:

- We are looking for individuals to manage new curriculum testing in Uttarakhand schools. At its core, the role will involve driving rigorous classroom observations, feedback conversations with students/facilitators and documentation along with knowledge transfer with curriculum, operations and M&E teams(in that order of priority)

**The scope of work will include**:

- 1. Driving entire testing life cycle right from collecting requirements to knowledge creation and improvement
- 2. Creating curriculum testing overviews and detailed plans based on requirements
- 3. Creating systems and processes for problem solving, learning, planning, monitoring and communication to operate effectively
- 4. Building capability - identifying resources(observers), orientation, training and support required by the team to deliver

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- 1. 3-5 Yrs of experience in the Education Sector
- 2. Stakeholder management(principals, teachers, observers, internal team)
- 3. Prior experience in Curriculum implementation: prototyping, learning and iterating
- 4. Prior experience in Project management: driving and managing immersive programs in medium to large scale
- 5. Research and documentation bent of mind
- 6. Based out of Uttarakhand or willing to relocate Uttarakhand and comfortable to travel around Uttarakhand. Can read, write and speak Hindi fluently

**Desirable Skills**:

- 1. M&E tool implementation (is a plus)
- 2. Adult learning principles, pedagogy and design
