Job Description
- As a Financial MIS Reporting Specialist, your role will involve gathering, analyzing, and presenting financial data to support decision-making processes within the organization. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial information, as well as developing and maintaining various financial reports and dashboards.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Analysis:
Gather financial data from multiple sources, including accounting systems, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software, and other relevant platforms.
Analyze and validate financial data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
Identify and investigate any discrepancies or anomalies in the financial data.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare regular financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analyses.
Develop and maintain financial dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) for monitoring financial performance.
Generate ad-hoc reports and analysis as required by management or other stakeholders.
Report Automation and Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for automation and streamlining of reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Work closely with IT teams to implement technological solutions for data extraction, transformation, and visualization.
Continuously review and enhance existing reporting templates and methodologies to meet changing business needs.
Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:
Present financial reports and analysis to management, department heads, and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their reporting requirements and provide insights based on financial data.
Respond to queries and requests for financial information in a timely and professional manner.
Compliance and Controls:
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal control policies in all reporting activities.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements for external audits and provide necessary support during audit processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial reporting frameworks.
Proficiency in financial analysis and data manipulation using tools like Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualization software.
Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Tableau).
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial reports.
Strong communication skills to effectively present and explain financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset to identify process improvement opportunities.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
