**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Develops institutional goals and objectives consistent with the vision, mission and values.
- Participates in development of curriculum strategies based on Cambridge curriculum to support the achievement of the school's performance objectives.
- Prepares booklist for curriculum development and plans for entire year's academic work in advance, reviews syllabus completion and assess the progress of the students at periodic intervals.
- Plans and specifies methods/formats for the scrutiny of student's written work and home assignment and ensures that the assessment and corrections are carried out timely and effectively.
- Ensure that the staffroom and classroom decorum is maintained by conducting regular checks and encourages healthy exchange of creative and constructive ideas and innovative teaching methods in classes.
- Ensures that school rules are uniformly observed and that student discipline is appropriate and equitable in accordance with the code of conduct of the school.
- Oversees co-ordination of extracurricular activities, inter school competitions and annual programs and sports activities to ensure that program objectives are met and school performs to its best.
- Conducts the evaluation of teachers and staff in an unbiased and objective manner and recommends promotions or corrective actions as required.
- Ensures all statutory documentation is completed as required by the Education Boards.

**Required Experience and Qualifications**
- Mandatory 5 years of experience of working as a Primary Coordinator in Cambridge Board
- Degree of M.Ed. in Education or B.Ed. in Education with relevant experience in teaching and administration.
