**AP Psychology Tutor - Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop customized lesson plans based on each student’s learning pace, strengths, and areas for improvement.
- Support students with their coursework, assignments, and AP exam preparation.
- Simplify psychological theories and topics like cognition, development, and behavior for better student understanding.
- Monitor academic progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Communicate regularly with students (and parents, when required) about goals and performance.
- Create a motivating and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Strong background in Psychology, preferably with experience teaching or tutoring AP-level Psychology.
- Familiarity with the AP Psychology curriculum and exam format.
- Excellent communication skills to explain abstract psychological concepts in simple and relatable terms.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students of varying skill levels.
- Creativity in using real-world examples, interactive tools, and study techniques to boost retention and engagement.
