Internal Auditor

**Who we are**

In order to strengthen Etraveli Group Internal Audit we are looking for an Internal Auditor. The position is located in Mumbai, India and will report to the Group Internal Audit Manager.

Are you a problem-solver with analytical skills? If you also have good communication skills and are a self-starter who can work independently as well as in teams conducting audits and business process reviews, this is the role for you
- Scope and perform internal audits (operational, compliance and risk management).
- Identify and assess areas of significant business risk.
- Identify and reduce business and financial risks through monitoring of controls.
- Produce clear and concise internal control reports that summarize internal control findings, recommendations and actions.
- Produce high quality internal control documentation and evidence to support the findings of any internal control review.
- Undertake any specific investigations or consultative work upon request.
- Support with risk management by providing advice and support as required.

**Who you are**

To succeed in this role we believe you are a person with analytical skills who have the ability to analyze and evaluate systems and develop suggestions for implementing improvements.

We also believe you have the ability to contribute to the development of internal audit procedures and policies.

You have good communication and networking skills and thrive to work both independently and within a team.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of experience within a “Big 4” public accounting/consulting environment and/or experience with financial and operational audits in a multinational company.
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification is a plus.
- Relevant academic degree in a relevant field for example Business or Economics.
- Sound understanding of auditing principles and practice, including risk based internal auditing.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills required.

**About Etraveli Group Internal Audit**

Internal Audit in Etraveli is an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed

to add value and improve Etraveli’s operations. Group Internal Audit helps Etraveli to accomplish its objectives by providing a systematic approach to improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.

Etraveli Group Internal Audit is headed by the Group Internal Audit Manager, who reports functionally to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors and administratively to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Etraveli Group Internal Audit plans, co-ordinate, performs financial, operational and compliance audits and consulting engagement in accordance with the annual internal audit plan.
