The role and responsibilities of **a Purchase Executive,**
We are seeking an experienced Purchase Manager with a strong engineering background, specifically focused on creating Purchase Orders and Work Orders, to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient procurement of materials and services required for engineering projects and manufacturing. **Creation**:Develop and manage the creation of Purchase Orders (POs) and Work Orders (WOs) in alignment with engineering project requirements and production schedules.
: Collaborate closely with the engineering and production teams to understand project specifications, technical requirements, and production schedules.
**Supplier** Identify and evaluate suppliers capable of providing engineering-related materials, components, and services. Negotiate contracts and establish strong supplier relationships.
**Technical Evaluation**:Assess the quality and suitability of materials and components for technical projects, ensuring they meet engineering standards and specifications.
**Cost Optimisation**:Analyse supplier pricing, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining the required quality and performance standards.
Oversee the management of engineering-specific inventory, forecasting demand, and ensuring the availability of critical components.
**Compliance**:Ensure that all procurement activities comply with engineering standards, industry regulations, and company policies.
Manage the procurement budget for engineering-related purchases, tracking expenditures, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals with engineering expertise, fostering growth and development within the team.
Regularly evaluate supplier performance against engineering-specific criteria and work with vendors to address any technical issues.
Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in engineering materials and components.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, budgets, and project plans.
Generate regular reports on project _status _and key performance indicators for management and stakeholders.
Quality Assurance:
Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards.
Address any quality issues promptly and work with the project team to find solutions. Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:
Foster effective communication among project team members and stakeholders. Keep all relevant parties informed about project updates and milestones.
Address any concerns or questions from clients, contractors, or team members.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., project management, construction management, engineering).
Proven experience in project coordination, preferably in the _construction _or related _industry._
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and make decisions on-site.
Knowledge of safety regulations and construction processes is a plus. Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Pay: ₹20,996.89 - ₹40,510.65 per month
