Purchase Executive

**ROLE: Purchase Engineer**

**LOCATION**:Vadodara, Gujarat
- **Experience in procurement for automation industries**, **machining, and fabrication** will be considered an advantage.
- Prior **experience working with manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers in sourcing components like PLCs, HMIs, servos, sensors, and electrical wires on a regular basis**.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Identify, evaluate, and **establish relationships with potential suppliers and vendors** to source precision machine parts.
- **Obtain and analyze quotations from different suppliers** to determine the most cost-effective options without compromising on quality.
- **Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable agreements**.
- Monitor **supplier performance** to ensure compliance with company quality standards and timely delivery schedules.
- **Prepare and issue purchase orders** (POs) in accordance **with company policies** and project requirements.
- Ensure **timely procurement of materials and components** to meet production schedules and project deadlines.
- Maintain **accurate records**of procurement transactions, supplier agreements, and inventory levels.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, emerging suppliers, and new products that could enhance manufacturing processes.
- Evaluate alternative materials and components to achieve cost savings and improve product quality.
- Work closely with the engineering and production teams to understand material specifications and project requirements.
- Coordinate with the quality assurance team to ensure that procured materials meet the required standards and specifications.
- Develop and implement cost-saving strategies in the procurement process without compromising on quality.
- Monitor and manage procurement budgets to ensure alignment with financial objectives.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Diploma Electrical/ DME/ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- **Proven experience as a Purchase Engineer**or in a similar procurement role within the **machine manufacturing** industry.
- **Experience in procurement for automation industries**, **machining, and fabrication** will be considered an advantage.
- Prior **experience working with manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers in sourcing components like PLCs, HMIs, servos, sensors, and electrical wires on a regular basis**.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and supply chain management principles.
- Excellent **negotiation and communication**skills.
- Ability to read and **interpret engineering drawings and specifications**.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and a **commitment to quality**.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
