**Job Overview**:
The Purchase Executive is responsible for managing procurement activities, including sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, placing orders, and ensuring on-time delivery of products. The role requires excellent communication, negotiation skills, and the ability to work efficiently with vendors and internal teams to meet the company's needs.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Procurement Management**:
- Source and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery capabilities.
- Negotiate favorable terms and prices with vendors.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders based on approved requisitions.
- Monitor order statuses and ensure timely delivery of materials or services.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- **Vendor Management**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Evaluate supplier performance regularly (e.g., price competitiveness, delivery times, product quality).
- Resolve any issues or disputes that arise between vendors and the company.
- **Inventory Control**:
- Collaborate with the inventory team to monitor stock levels and ensure the timely replenishment of materials.
- Track and manage product delivery schedules to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- **Cost Management**:
- Analyze pricing trends and market conditions to optimize procurement costs.
- Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality or performance.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier communications.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, expenditures, and savings achieved.
- Update and manage the supplier database.
- **Quality Assurance**:
- Ensure that all products purchased meet the required specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct inspections or arrange for quality checks on incoming goods.
- **Collaboration with Other Departments**:
- Work closely with internal teams, such as Finance, Sales, and Production, to understand procurement requirements.
- Coordinate with the logistics and warehouse teams for smooth receipt and storage of materials.
- **Compliance and Regulations**:
- Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory procurement standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends and procurement best practices.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in procurement or purchasing (usually 2-3 years).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and vendor relations.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
