Job Overview

The Merchandiser is responsible for planning and managing the merchandise display and inventory in retail stores to maximize sales and enhance the shopping experience for customers. This role involves collaboration with various teams, including marketing, sales, and supply chain, to ensure that products are effectively presented and stocked.

Key Responsibilities
- Product Selection: Analyze market trends and customer preferences to select the right products for the target audience.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and manage inventory to ensure optimal product availability while minimizing excess stock.
- Visual Merchandising: Create visually appealing product displays that attract customers and promote sales.
- Sales Analysis: Track sales data and performance metrics to evaluate merchandising strategies and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align merchandising strategies with promotional campaigns.
- Vendor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Store Visits: Conduct regular store visits to assess merchandising effectiveness and provide feedback to store management.
- Training: Train store staff on merchandising standards and product knowledge to enhance customer service.

**Qualifications**:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in merchandising, retail, or sales is highly desirable.
- Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and merchandising software.
- Creative mindset with an eye for design and detail.

Working Conditions
- May require travel to various retail locations.
- Fast-paced retail environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Salary
- Competitive salary based on experience, plus benefits.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
