Ui/ux Intern

As a UI/UX intern, you will help in design and implementation of all the experiences a user has when interacting with our product be it the web or mobile apps. You will work closely with our design team, frontend engineering team and the product manager to ensure seamless web/mobile design and the successful implementation of UI/UX best practices and principles across all our digital platforms.

First and foremost, we're looking for people who are excited about what we're doing -- you don't need to know anything about IoT, but should be excited to learn. We're building in an entirely new space, so you'll be able to use creativity to help us solve problems and delight our customers. We're really looking for a creative star You need to be able to turn our software into super intuitive and easy to use products for the end users. If you are someone who can create stories and visuals and marry the two into a and they lived happily ever after fairytale, then this role is definitely for you

**Responsibilities**:
Gather and evaluate user requirements seamlessly in collaboration with product managers and engineers.

Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.

Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets.

Build page navigation buttons and search fields.

Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like.

Create original graphic designs (e. g. images, sketches and tables).

Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.

Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e. g. responsiveness).

Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.

Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images.

Bachelor's degree(or ongoing) or equivalent professional experience with a directed focus on UI/UX.

An online portfolio or samples of work showcasing your stunning aesthetic sense that allows us to understand your design skills is a must.

Good experience in UI/UX or related fields.

Exposure across UI/UX design tools - Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Balsamiq, InVision, Sketch, Whimsical, Visio.

Attention to detail is a must. We love our designers to be pixel perfect crazy.

Exceptional sense of typography, imagery, colors, composition and visual layouts.

Ability to gracefully defend your design decisions to executive management.

Stay abreast & implement recent developments in the design industry.

Demonstrate an understanding of visual hierarchy.

Ability to express oneself lucidly in both written, verbal and artistic communications.

Great sense of creativity and mindset of designing for the user than for yourself.

Apart from the above mentioned, it would be plus if you also have:
Good knowledge in Wix platform to design and manage the company website.

Good skill in making corporate explainer or promotional videos.

Some knowledge about HTML, CSS, etc.
