**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Extraction & Purification**:

- Develop and optimize **solvent extraction, supercritical fluid extraction (SFE), and other advanced techniques** for bioactive compounds.
- Perform **fractionation, filtration, chromatography, and distillation** processes to ensure high-purity extracts.
- Enhance extraction efficiency and yield through process improvements.

**Analytical Testing & Characterization**:

- Conduct **HPLC, GC-MS, UV-Vis, FTIR, and other analytical techniques** to characterize active ingredients.
- Ensure compliance with **quality and regulatory standards** for nutraceutical formulations.
- Maintain detailed documentation of experimental data and analysis reports.

**Process Development & Optimization**:

- Assist in scaling up extraction processes from lab-scale to pilot and commercial production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product formulation and stability.
- Troubleshoot process inefficiencies and propose innovative solutions.

**Regulatory & Documentation**:

- Prepare **technical reports, SOPs** as required.
- Ensure adherence to **GMP, GLP, and regulatory guidelines** in all laboratory activities.
- Support patent filings and intellectual property development.

**Required Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- M.Sc./M.Tech. in **Chemistry, Biotechnology, or Chemical Engineering** with a **minimum of 3 years of R&D lab experience** OR
- B.Tech. in **Chemical Engineering/Biotechnology** with **5+ years of industry R&D experience**.
- **Experience**:

- Hands-on expertise in **extraction, purification, formulation and analytical techniques**.
- Strong understanding of **phytochemistry, bioactive compounds, and natural product isolation**.
- Experience in an **industrial R&D setting** (preferably in nutraceuticals, food, or pharma industries).

**Preferred Skills & Competencies**:
✔ Expertise in **natural product extraction & formulation**
✔ Strong knowledge of **analytical techniques** (HPLC, GC, UV, etc.)
✔ Familiarity with **GMP, GLP, and regulatory compliance**
✔ Ability to **troubleshoot and optimize R&D processes**
✔ Excellent **technical documentation & report writing skills**
✔ Strong **problem-solving and analytical abilities**
✔ Passion for **innovation in nutraceutical/personal care research**

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹850,000.00 per year
