Job Description: Sales Executive - Modular Furniture Firm
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our dynamic team at Make My Space. As a Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and expanding our customer base. Your primary responsibilities will include calling leads, updating the CRM system, following up on leads, managing pricing strategies in the modular furniture industry, preparing quotations, and facilitating effective interdepartmental communications.
**Responsibilities**:
Prospect and identify potential customers by actively calling leads and qualifying their needs and requirements.
Update the customer relationship management (CRM) system accurately and in a timely manner to ensure effective tracking of leads and customer interactions.
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of pricing strategies and industry trends related to modular furniture, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing for products and services.
Prepare and present professional quotations, including pricing details, terms, and conditions, to potential customers in alignment with company policies and guidelines.
Collaborate closely with internal departments, such as design, production, and logistics, to ensure smooth execution of projects and timely delivery of orders.
Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process, addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to drive sales growth.
Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, performance metrics, and pipeline status to the sales manager.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network, generate leads, and represent the company professionally.
**Requirements**:
Proven experience as a Sales Executive or similar role in the modular furniture industry.
Strong knowledge of pricing strategies, product offerings, and industry trends in modular furniture.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and internal stakeholders.
Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales tools to manage leads, track progress, and generate reports.
Exceptional negotiation and persuasive skills to convert leads into sales.
Detail-oriented with the ability to prepare accurate quotations and handle complex pricing calculations.
Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Self-motivated and target-driven mindset with a proven track record of achieving sales goals.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
