**Position**: Quality Inspector
**Department**: Quality Assurance / Quality Control
**Reports to**: Quality Manager / Production Head

**Role Overview**:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced **Quality Inspector** to ensure that all sheet metal and fabrication products meet company and customer quality standards. The role involves **inspection, testing, and documentation** of incoming, in-process, and finished components to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Inspect **sheet metal and fabricated components** at different stages of production (incoming, in-process, final).
- Read and interpret **engineering drawings, technical specifications, and GD&T requirements.**:

- Use precision measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Bore Gauges, Weld Gauges, and Surface Plates.
- Perform **visual, dimensional, and weld inspections** to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Record inspection results, prepare **inspection reports, rejection reports, and maintain quality documentation.**:

- Coordinate with production teams to highlight **non-conformities and corrective actions.**:

- Assist in root cause analysis and suggest improvements to minimize defects.
- Ensure compliance with **ISO/TS/AS standards** (if applicable).
- Monitor and maintain calibration of measuring instruments.
- Support customer audits and internal quality audits.

**Required Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of **quality inspection techniques** in sheet metal and fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret **engineering drawings & GD&T.**:

- Hands-on experience with **measuring instruments and gauges.**:

- Knowledge of **welding standards, fabrication processes, and finishing operations.**:

- Familiarity with **ISO 9001 / IATF standards** is an added advantage.
- Good documentation and reporting skills (MS Excel/ERP knowledge preferred).
- Attention to detail and ability to identify defects quickly.
- Good communication and coordination skills with shop-floor teams.

**Qualification & Experience**:

- **Qualification**: ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical or related field.
- **Experience**: 2-5 years in Quality Inspection (Sheet Metal & Fabrication industry).
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also be considered.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
