Introduction:
Automation Tester is responsible to work with multiple functional/business systems aligned teams conducting automation based testing, engineering and monitoring activities. The engineer will work with the scrum teams and members from a central business team to test the functional working of the systems, documenting issues and work with whomever it takes to determine root cause of any issues. The measure of success is preventing any significant functional problems from hitting Production at a large scale.

What will you be doing?
- Report on the possibilities of functional failures and make sound decisions for next steps
- Measure results against business and technical requirements.
- Develop and validate automated test scripts against business unit-of-work requirements and scripting best practices
- Build custom code with the Java programming language to make scripts robust and dynamic.
- Review scripts with core automation engineering Team and/or business team. Determine and validate system functions and user patterns. Build usage models based on these inputs.
- Collaborate with Business/Developers on the delivery of results

What we’re looking for:

- 3 to 5 years of prior experience with automation and functional testing
- Experience on Automation Testing Tools - Selenium, Appium, Cucumber BDD, Karate & RestAssured
- UI and API Test Automation experience
- Understanding of stubbing or simulating end points and when to use.
- Strong Java skills
- Understanding of Web and API architecture
- Good understanding of database testing, SQL.
- Experience in UI, API automation with selenium & Karate & Rest Assured frameworks.
- Must be able to work as individual contributor.
- Should be able work with Senior team members/Team lead and deliver the best quality deliverables and reusable automation code.
- Self motivated individual, willing to take challenges and work on challenging environement and in stringent timelines.
