Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automated Tester Java to join our dynamic quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Java to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications. This role requires proficiency in Java programming, experience with automation tools, and a strong understanding of software testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and automation frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements, execute automated test cases, and analyze results.
  • Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
  • Continuous Integration: Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing and faster feedback cycles.
  • Defect Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with development teams to resolve issues promptly.
  • Test Framework Maintenance: Develop and maintain reusable test automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
