Quality Control Inspector

**Position for Engg/Sr. Engg

**Basic Criteria**:
Gender : Male/ Female

Qualification : Diploma/B.E Mechanical Engineer

Age :22 to 35 Years

Location : Chakan Pune

Experience : Minimum 2~3 years

Salary : 20,000 to 30,000

Office Timing : 8.30am to 5.00pm.

Days : Working Monday to Saturday & Weekly off: Sunday

Employment : Full Time.

**Major Duties & Responsibilities**:
**1. ** Process Monitoring and Control**
- **Continuous Monitoring**: Regularly inspect and monitor the stamping process to ensure all parameters are within the specified limits.
- **SPC (Statistical Process Control)**: Utilize SPC tools to monitor process performance and identify any variations that may affect quality.
- **Control Plans**: Develop and maintain control plans that outline critical process steps, inspection points, and quality requirements.

**2. ** Inspection and Testing**
- **First Article Inspection**: Conduct initial inspections of stamped parts to ensure they meet design specifications and standards.
- **In-process Inspections**: Perform regular in-process inspections using gauges, micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
- **Testing**: Coordinate and conduct necessary tests such as tensile strength, hardness, and dimensional accuracy tests on stamped parts.

**3. ** Defect Analysis and Troubleshooting**
- **Defect Identification**: Identify and document any defects or non-conformities in stamped parts.
- **Root Cause Analysis**: Utilize problem-solving tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, or FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) to determine the root cause of defects.
- **Corrective Actions**: Develop and implement corrective actions to address identified issues and prevent recurrence.

**4. ** Documentation and Reporting**
- **Quality Reports**: Prepare detailed quality reports documenting inspection results, test data, and any non-conformances identified during the production process.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality checks, inspections, and corrective actions taken.
- **Compliance**: Ensure all quality documentation complies with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

**5. ** Process Improvement**
- **Continuous Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
- **Six Sigma**: Implement Six Sigma methodologies to improve process capability and performance.

**6. ** Training and Development**
- **Operator Training**: Train production operators and other relevant personnel on quality standards, inspection techniques, and proper handling of stamping parts.
- **Skill Development**: Facilitate continuous improvement training and skill development programs for quality assurance staff.

**7. ** Supplier Quality Management**
- **Supplier Audits**: Conduct regular audits of suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards for raw materials and components.
- **Incoming Inspection**: Inspect and test incoming materials and components to ensure they meet quality requirements before being used in production.

**8. ** Collaboration and Communication**
- **Cross-functional Teams**: Work closely with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.
- **Customer Communication**: Communicate with customers regarding quality concerns, specifications, and corrective actions when necessary.

**9. ** Compliance and Safety**
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure all stamping processes comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- **Safety Standards**: Promote and adhere to safety standards within the production environment to ensure the well-being of all employees.

**10. ** Use of Technology**
- **Quality Management Systems**: Utilize quality management systems (QMS) software to manage quality processes, track defects, and document corrective actions.
- **Automation Tools**: Employ automation tools for inspection and testing where applicable to improve accuracy and efficiency.

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:
Computer : Advance MS office, Office 365,

Knowledge : PPAP, 7QC Tools, 8D, PDCA, Mini Tab, 3M,5S, CAPA, IATF:16949, GD&T

Instrument : Height Gauge, Profile Projector, CMM/VMM, Sine Bar.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
