**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- Responsible for managing the customers backup infrastructure using various backup tools like Veritas Net Backup, VEEAM Backup and Replication, Data Domain, Veritas Appliance, OPSCENTER, and VTLs.
- Deploying various backup software and building new backup servers as per the predefined design of the architect.
- Performing the post implementation checks for the newly built backup servers and provide basic KT of the backup product.
- Managing the daily customer review SLA compliance calls pertaining to the backup recovery operations.
- Performing the daily health check for all backup tools, tape libraries, data domains and all other backup infra components.
- Complete tape management in the backup environment including tape offsetting and recalling them from third party vendors as required.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Creating backup scripts for user backup for UNIX and Windows servers
- Coordinate with Vendor for software and Hardware patches/updates/break fix. etc.
- Preparing the Implementation plan for change Request and implementing the request
- Investigating and Troubleshooting Failed Backups
- Creating knowledge base articles for BAU / L2/3 engineers

**Required Education**

Bachelor's Degree
