**Your Role and Responsibilities**

The System Administrator/ Ansible Developer will be one of the technical experts for Ansible ecosystem & DevOps practices within the organization, providing solutions and technical implementation aligned with the automation program objectives. This team member will develop Ansible artefacts, troubleshoot issues and work on implementing configuration management roadmap of the organization

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- The System Administrator/ Ansible Developer will be one of the technical experts for Ansible ecosystem & DevOps practices within the organization, providing solutions and technical implementation aligned with the automation program objectives. This team member will develop Ansible artefacts, troubleshoot issues and work on implementing configuration management roadmap of the organization
- Develop Ansible playbooks and modules
- Define and setup the process for managing Ops developed playbooks
- Administer Ansible infrastructure, perform maintenance and configuration and provide SME level support.
- Generate auto start/stop scripts, auto registration to load balancers, creation / cloning of database schemas using Ansible.
- Provide technical support to IT ops around automation solution usage
- Provide assistant to the DevOps team to develop, configure and administer overall DevOps and IT automation solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement test automation with Ansible
- Understanding of relevant software development tools including version control, build processes, debuggers, and test frameworks
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Strong **knowledge of Source Code Control** Systems: Subversion, Git/Gerrit
- Linux OS proficiency a plus.

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
- Familiarity and experience in Java programming technologies on Linux-based platforms
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment practices. AntHill Pro, Hudson/Jenkins or other CI systems a plus
- Software deployment monitoring, automation, build/release, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge on Agile practices.
