**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **TDS Compliance**:

- Calculate, process, and ensure timely deposit of TDS as per applicable rates.
- Preparation and filing of TDS returns (Quarterly).
- Reconcile TDS-related entries in the accounts and generate TDS certificates.
- Provide necessary documents and assist with TDS audits.
- **GST Compliance**:

- Preparation, filing, and reconciliation of monthly and quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).
- Assist with the preparation and filing of GST Annual Returns.
- Reconcile GST input/output tax and identify discrepancies or mismatches.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in GST rules and regulations.
- **Accounts Maintenance**:

- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries, including journal entries, sales/purchase entries, and payments/receipts.
- Assist in maintaining ledgers, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial statements.
- Assist with bank reconciliations, vendor payments, and customer collections.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Prepare and maintain accurate accounting documentation.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Support in the preparation of financial reports for management review.
- Generate reports on GST, TDS, and other taxes as required.
- **Audit Support**:

- Assist during internal and external audits by providing the necessary documents and information related to TDS, GST, and other accounting areas.
- **General Administrative Support**:

- Coordinate with other departments for smooth operations.
- Handle queries and correspondence related to taxation and accounting.

**Key Requirements**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- Additional certification or training in **TDS** and **GST** is preferred.
- **Experience**:

- 2-3 years of experience in an accounts-related role, with specific exposure to TDS and GST compliance.
- Prior experience in the **jewelry** or **retail** industry is an advantage.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in **Tally** or similar accounting software.
- Hands-on experience with MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.).
- Knowledge of TDS, GST filing procedures, and relevant statutory laws.
- **Personal Attributes**:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, reliable, and organized.
