Overview:
Manual Testing Intern shall be responsible for executing the assigned tests, and developing new test cases under supervision for a variety of software solutions in the product line. They should be able to effectively work within a team of technically strong engineers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up test environment
- Develop test cases against requirements/user stories
- Execute assigned test runs and update Test Case management and Defect Tracking Tool Enter defect details and links to appropriate test runs.
- Complete assigned tasks on-time and in accordance with the appropriate process.
- Participate in technical reviews to ensure product quality.
- Regular status reports of testing activities
- Generate test reports
- Develop Test Automation scripts under supervision

**Functional Skills**
- Must be able to use PC and software testing tools
- Knowledge of Screening and Scanning technologies is a plus
- Exposure to Security Systems domain is a plus

**Specific Knowledge**
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycles, Testing Life Cycle and testing Concepts
- Knowledge of Microsoft OS and software practices
- Comprehend Test set-up.
- Test automation knowledge and prior experience with Selenium is a definite plus
- Working knowledge of MS-Word and MS-Excel

**Soft Skills**
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills with very good teaming skills
- A commitment to ongoing training and self learning
- Good time management and self-organization

Qualifications:

- BE/B.Tech in the disciplines of EEE/ECE/CSE or MCA degree or equivalent experience.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification will be a definite plus.
