Global Employee Relations Coordinator

Summary of Position:
- Alcon is looking to hire_
- Global Employee Relations Coordinator for will be responsible for the daily operational and project management support for the Global Employee Relations (GER) Center of Excellence._
- Under the direction of the Region Employee Relations Manager, APAC, Japan & China the ER coordinator will collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders (Human Resources, Finance, Legal, IT and vendors)_
- This position is located at the Alcon Global Service Center in Bangalore, India and will work core hours to support the global need._
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Global Employee Relations Leadership team, including
- calendar and travel & expense management,
- Requesting outplacement services
- compiling presentation materials
- handling additional projects/requests
- Maintain GER collaboration spaces
- HR4HR Sharepoint
- Global Employee Relations Teams
- Global Employee Relations Productivity Hub SmartSheet
- Triage and assign HR Now cases
- Maintain investigation status tracker
- Assist with investigation close out actions
- Work with Site HR Heads and other global stakeholders to ensure collaboration and timely exchange of information and documentation.
- Handle or assist in preparation for off-site meetings, team events and/or conferences.
- Manage staff meetings organization, agenda planning, and documentation.
- Optimize the management of Global Employee Relations contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and budgets.
Knowledge and Skills:
- 2 years' experience in Human Resources, specifically with Global Employee Relations
- Forward thinker who seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
- A quick study who can work with mínimal direction and remain flexible
- Master cross functional collaborator
- Resourceful team player with the ability to be independently effective
- Strong financial acumen
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Outlook and the MSO suite including, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Adobe
- Open to learning new technology
- Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize
- Demonstrated ability to:
- work independently in a fast-paced environment
- work to deadlines and prioritize workload
- communicate and align priorities with management and key stakeholders
- handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent customer service skills
- High level written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive problem-solving approaches and strong decision-making capability

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
