**Designation: Purchase Engineer**

**Experience: 3 to 4Yrs**

A Sheet Metal Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring sheet metal materials from vendors to meet the production needs of a manufacturing company, ensuring timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and quality standards while maintaining strong supplier relationships within the sheet metal industry.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Supplier Management**:

- Identify and develop a network of reliable sheet metal suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities.
- Conduct regular vendor evaluations and performance reviews to maintain quality standards.
- Negotiate pricing contracts and payment terms with suppliers to achieve cost optimization.
- Manage supplier relationships and address any issues promptly.

**2. Procurement**:

- Analyze production requirements to determine sheet metal needs, including gauge, material type, and quantity.
- Generate purchase orders and ensure accurate specifications are communicated to suppliers.
- Monitor purchase orders and follow up on deliveries to meet production deadlines.
- Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers and price trends.

**3. Quality Control**:

- Implement quality checks on incoming sheet metal deliveries to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with the quality team to address any quality concerns with suppliers.
- Maintain documentation regarding material certifications and quality records.

**4. Cost Management**:

- Negotiate favorable pricing with suppliers to optimize material costs.
- Analyze pricing trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent overstocking and minimize carrying costs.

5. Logistics and Inventory:

- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of sheet metal materials.
- Manage inventory levels of sheet metal to meet production demand and minimize stockouts.
- Implement inventory tracking systems to maintain accurate data on material availability.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in sourcing and negotiating with suppliers, including contract management.

**Market Awareness**:

- Knowledge of current market trends, pricing dynamics, and potential suppliers in the sheet metal industry.

**Quality Assurance**:

- Familiarity with quality control procedures and standards relevant to sheet metal.

**Communication Skills**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication to effectively interact with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders.

**Analytical Skills**:

- Ability to analyse data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and make informed purchasing decisions.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, preferably within the sheet metal manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in SAP Business One and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
