Metallurgical Laboratory Assistant/technician for Steel Wire Manufacturing Company

We are currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Metallurgical Laboratory Assistant/Technician to join our growing team.

**Job Overview**:As a Metallurgical Laboratory Assistant/Technician for our Steel Wire Manufacturing Company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of incoming raw material & final products. You will be responsible for conducting various tests like tensile testing, hardness testing, microstructural analysis and chemical analysis on the steel wires, providing accurate and timely results, and assisting the metallurgist in all laboratory-related tasks. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for metallurgy are essential for success in this role.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct quality control tests on incoming raw materials to ensure they meet required specifications.
- Perform various tests and experiments on steel wires, such as tensile strength, chemical composition, and metallographic analysis.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Prepare and analyze samples using metallurgical techniques.
- Record and interpret test results accurately and provide recommendations for any necessary adjustments.
- Assist in the development and improvement of testing procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
- Work closely with the metallurgist and other team members to meet production and quality targets.
- Maintain record of all testing
- Issue test certificates against tests conducted.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, B.Sc./M.Sc. or any
- Fresher & experience working in a metallurgical laboratory setting can apply.

**Experience**:

- Experience with various laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis software.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, as needed.
- Must be eager learner

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
