As a **Lab Technician**, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our products through meticulous lab work. Your responsibilities will include conducting experiments, preparing samples, and maintaining a well-organized laboratory environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Conduct Experiments**: Perform tests and experiments to generate accurate data for scientific analysis and product development.
- **Sample Preparation**: Prepare and obtain samples for analysis in compliance with quality protocols.
- **Equipment Operation**: Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as microscopes, centrifuges, and pH meters to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- **Data Recording**: Accurately record, interpret, and report data from experiments and tests.
- **Result Communication**: Collaborate with senior colleagues to discuss findings and improve product outcomes.
- **Safety Compliance**: Follow strict safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
- **Supply Management**: Ensure the lab is well-stocked and that all materials are labeled correctly for efficient operations.
- **Process Improvement**: Stay updated on technical developments and suggest improvements to enhance lab processes.
**Additional Responsibilities**:
- Analyze samples for contaminants, potency, and other required parameters.
- Ensure compliance with product tracking, security, movement, and disposal procedures.
- Provide technical support and training to lab technicians and team members.
- Prepare comprehensive summaries and reviews of investigations and findings.
**Qualifications**:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
- Previous experience in laboratory work, color matching, testing, or quality control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in operating laboratory equipment and production machinery.
- Strong knowledge of polymer chemistry and coating formulation principles.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and project deadlines.
