**Job Title: Dispatch Agent - Logistics**

**Responsibilities**:

- **Dispatch Operations**:
Plan, organize, and coordinate daily dispatch operations to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.

Allocate resources effectively, including vehicles, drivers, and equipment, to optimize delivery routes and minimize costs.
- **Team Management**:
Lead and supervise a team of dispatchers, drivers, and support staff.

Provide training and guidance to enhance team performance and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
- **Route Optimization**:
Implement and utilize routing software to optimize delivery routes, reduce transit times, and increase overall efficiency.

Monitor and adjust routes in real-time to respond to changing conditions or unforeseen events.
- **Communication**:
Maintain clear communication with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders to provide updates on delivery status, delays, or any other relevant information.

Address and resolve issues, concerns, or complaints related to dispatch operations.
- **Compliance and Safety**:
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing transportation and logistics.

Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize accidents and injuries.
- **Performance Metrics**:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of dispatch operations.

Analyse data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- **Inventory Management**:
Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure accurate and timely loading of goods for transportation.

Implement strategies to minimize inventory discrepancies and stockouts during transportation.
- **Cost Management**:
Monitor and control operational costs, including fuel expenses, vehicle maintenance, and other related expenditures.

Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement cost-effective solutions.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in dispatch management within the logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, route planning, and fleet management.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using dispatch software and other relevant tools.
- Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Supplemental pay types:

**Experience**:

- Proven experience of Dispatching: 2 years (preferred)
