Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules’ firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.

Skill requirement: QA Automation - SDET role

Core React Native:
Experience with React Native framework - understanding components, props, state, JSX, etc.
Familiarity with React Native architecture - native modules, JavaScript runtime, communication between native and JS
Experience with RN tools like RN Snack Expo web tool to test and identify RN parity
Experience with Android Studio to build RN sample apps and test on emulator
Experience testing on both iOS and Android platforms
Ability to test UI/UX flows, functionality, gestures, animations, etc.
Knowledge of React Native testing tools - Jest, React Testing Library, Detox, Appium
Ability to write automated tests in JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience with React Native debugging tools like React Developer Tools
Understanding of mobile app testing best practices - security, performance, accessibility
Ability to reproduce, isolate and document software defects
Knowledge of QA processes like writing test cases, test plans, reporting bugs
Strong communication skills to collaborate with developers and product managers
Experience testing real-world React Native apps preferably released to the App Store/Play Store
Bonus for knowledge of React Native performance and security topics

Automation Framework:
Experience with Pytest framework for writing automated tests in Python
Familiarity with Linux/Unix platforms and shell scripting (Bash, sh)
Ability to write shell scripts to automate testing workflows and processes
Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines with Git, Jenkins, etc and running automated tests
Knowledge of tools like Appium and Detox and running them via CLI/scripts
Familiarity with common Linux/Unix utilities (grep, sed, awk, etc) for log analysis
Knowledge of Linux/Unix processes and tools for troubleshooting and profiling
Ability to analyze debug logs, crash reports, and artifacts on Linux/Unix systems

Experience in OTT apps, device testing & automation

QA Processes:
Experience using Jira for test case management and defect tracking
Ability to create and link test cases to Jira tickets and track execution status
Knowledge of Jira agile workflows and concepts (user stories, sprints, epics)
Familiarity with Confluence for creating and maintaining test documentation
Ability to create test plans, test cases, reports and other QA artifacts in Confluence
Knowledge of TestRail or similar test case management tools
Experience with test runs, logs, results and integration with defect tracking
Understanding of test metrics and reporting capabilities
General ability to utilize test management tools in a collaborative team environment
Skills to create and share test artifacts and keep tools up-to-date
Understanding of best practices for test documentation and traceability

Triaging and QA Acumen:
Ability to do log analysis for JS crashes
Debugging Native (C++)/JS crashes
Line/breakpoint debugging with React Native Flipper
Knowledge of Boundary Value Analysis and Knowledge of Equivalence Class Partitioning
Knowledge of binary search to find the offending commit
