**Key Responsibilities**:
To oversee the overall operation in all aspects of the melting process, ensuring high-quality output, efficient production, and adherence to safety protocols
- Supervise and lead a team of operators and technicians during the assigned shift.
- Coordinate and oversee melting operations using Arc Furnace technology, specifically for Railway Casting.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
- Monitor production metrics such as throughput, yield, energy consumption, and scrap rates.
- Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with other departments (such as Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Production Planning) to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
- Train and mentor junior staff members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Prepare shift reports, maintain records of production data, and provide updates to management.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Diploma /B.E/Bachelor's degree (**B.Tech) in Metallurgy**, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6-12 years of experience in a melt shop environment, preferably in the railway **industry /railway casting**_and must have _**demonstrable working experience with Arc Furnaces**_, must have experience in Foundry.
- Strong knowledge of melt shop processes, including melting, refining, and casting.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
