**Overview**: As a Pharmacist, you play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medication for patients. You are responsible for dispensing prescriptions, providing expertise on the safe use of medications, and offering advice to patients on general healthcare and lifestyle choices. Key Responsibilities:
Dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
Ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
Providing clinical expertise on medications and their appropriate use
Checking for drug interactions and contraindications
Offering patient counseling on medications and healthcare
Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
Managing inventory and ordering supplies
Participating in medication therapy management programs
Conducting medication reviews and reconciliations
Ensuring accuracy and completeness of patient medication records
Providing immunizations and other clinical services
Participating in quality improvement initiatives
Contributing to a safe and clean working environment
Keeping abreast of developments in the pharmaceutical industry
Mentoring and supervising pharmacy technicians and interns Required Qualifications:
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree
Active state pharmacy license
Strong understanding of pharmacy laws and regulations
Clinical knowledge and expertise in medication management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
Knowledge of drug interactions and contraindications
Experience in patient counseling and healthcare education
Ability to provide immunizations and clinical services
Proficiency in pharmacy computer systems and software
Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively
